Philadelphia Groundhog is Just Hanging Out and Eating Pizza

If I had to provide a “Mount Rushmore” of groundhogs, ‘Gus’ from the Pennsylvania lottery commercials definitely would not be on it. I’d go with the groundhog from Caddyshack, Staten Island Chuck, and Punxsutawney Phil.
Philadelphia's "Pizza Groundhog" is enjoying this coronavirus quarantine with a full stomach! 🍕 Thanks for sending in this video Kristin Chalela Bagnell! #6abcactionhttps://t.co/NCcTOzDkkr pic.twitter.com/lFqQwivShh

I think the Pizza Groundhog should be our Punxsutawny Phil.
Each February, we gather in Brewerytown’s ALDI parking lot. Then Sue Serio puts a slice of Lorenzo’s on the ground. If the Pizza Groundhog shows up and starts munching on it, it means that we get an early spring. If he doesn’t show up, it means we get six more weeks of winter.
Good idea? Bad idea?
Time’s yours.
