“A six foot guard, from Georgetown University… number three, Allen, IIIIIIIversonnnnnnnn.”

That’s how Matt Cord would do the intro, if I remember correctly. Feels like a dog’s age since we’ve been down to the Wells Fargo Center.

The Answer recently appeared on Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes’ All the Smoke podcast, and the generally benign A.I. went after a media personality that he says he “hates,” though he stopped short of naming names.

Here’s the clip:

Twitter seems to think he’s talking about Jason Whitlock, whose father was somewhat of a local celebrity in Indianapolis. There aren’t many other father/son duos that would fit the bill. I saw some Spike Eskin/Howard Eskin stuff on Twitter, which makes no sense at all. Spike was still working at WYSP when Iverson wrapped up his playing career with Besiktas. Howard is only a peripheral figure at Sixers practices and games and hasn’t said anything critical of Iverson in the last ten years, at least not that I’m aware of.

Here’s some evidence for the Whitlock take:

It has to be Whitlock. Who else could it be?
