Flyers news on a Thursday, NFL Draft day morning:

There are seven games remaining and the Flyers aren’t going to the playoffs, so now they can shut down Hart and focus on getting him turned around in the summer.

Hart had a poor season. Incredibly disappointing. The defense in front of him was totally lackluster, but his stats are way down. Save percentage? .877, down from .914 last year and .917 the year prior. Goals against average? 3.67, up from 2.42 and 2.83 from the past two seasons.

Pretty simple path forward here. Spend the summer getting healthy, work on his game, and then come back in the Fall ready to go behind a new-look defense.

Take this Flyers season and put it straight into the bagster.
