The Seattle Kraken expansion draft ended up being kind of a dud. No monster trades. No blockbuster veteran acquisitions from them despite players like Carey Price being dangled out there.

One guy they did take was former Flyer Tyler Pitlick, and he’s expected to be moved:

The Flyers had a chance to re-sign Pitlick in 2020, but Arizona made him a good offer, and he ended up going out west on a two-year deal worth $3.5 million.

Pitlick was a solid depth forward here. He played 63 games during that 2019-2020 season and bagged 8 goals and 12 assists. He contributed three points in 16 playoff games. They brought him over in the trade that sent Ryan Hartman to Dallas. If Pitlick is indeed moved today, he’ll be with his fifth organization since 2019, which is kind of crazy. He’ll have gone from Dallas, to Philly, to Arizona, to Seattle, and then to wherever he ends up.
