College football is back baby!

Gotta love it. The pageantry. The fans. The hyper-local territorial battles. Philadelphia does not seem to give a shit about college ball, unfortunately, but we can all find common ground in wondering what exactly the Boise State quarterback was doing on this play:

Man, that’s a rough one. 3rd and 4. He could have run for that first down and decided to throw instead. Maybe he didn’t realize how close he was to the marker.

Boise was marching, too. They had just scored on the previous possession to take the lead. After a lightning delay, no less. And then you’ve got it all right there in front of you and he throws a pick and the game is over.

Bummer.

Anyway, full slate tomorrow. Penn State at Wisconsin. Temple at Rutgers. Get the remote control ready. Let’s go baby.
