Georges Niang Enters Health and Safety Protocol

According to a message just now from the Sixers’ PR staff.
He’s out for tonight’s game while Furkan Korkmaz is downgraded to questionable with a non-COVID illness.
As you may recall, or probably tried to forget, the Sixers lost Joel Embiid, Matisse Thybulle, Isaiah Joe, and Tobias Harris for an early portion of the season due to COVID. Niang is the first player to enter the protocol since those four returned healthy.

- Joel Embiid – questionable (rib)
- Seth Curry – questionable (shoulder)
- Korkmaz – questionable (non-COVID illness)
- Niang – out (protocol)
- Ben Simmons – out (gaming and NFTs, or whatever he’s currently doing)
- Jaden Springer – out (concussion)
- Grant Riller – out (shoulder)
Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo are both out for Miami and Tyler Herro is questionable.
