Meet the Philadelphia Cowboy Commander Stars

If you missed the news in November, the Philadelphia Stars are coming back via the re-launched USFL.
The uniforms dropped Thursday:

This looks like a mash up of Cowboys and Redskins uniforms. I mean Washington Football Team. Sorry, I mean Commanders. You have the fuckin’ gross Dallas star and the Washington colors, so it’s pretty barfy from a knee-jerk/first impression kind of standpoint.
The old Stars jerseys, dating back to the 1980s, weren’t bad. They had a similar scheme, but the colors looked more like what the San Francisco 49ers wear. Those Stars teams were pretty darn good, and our guys played for a couple of titles and won the 1984 championship before relocating to Baltimore.
But whatever, it’s not about the uniforms. We’re gonna support our hometown team. Ride or die. I’ve been a Stars fan my entire life. The draft is in five days and they had better take a linebacker in the first round. They better run the football. Ground and pound baby.
If they don’t run the ball then the coach should be fired.
