This Guy Must Really Hate the Yankees

Spotted on television:

The Yankees opened their season at home against the Red Sox, so from what we can gather this guy is simply trolling. He’s standing next to a guy with the same Red Sox shirt, but the inference here is that he’s a Boston fan trolling Yankee fans in the Bronx by donning a hat of the other New York team to create the most grotesque fandom amalgam we have ever seen. This is like the Frankenstein of shirt+hat combinations. Just terrible.

The only other explanation is that he likes BOTH the Mets and Red Sox, which would be even more gross, so we’re gonna throw that out the window and go with our first presumption.

It’s kind of funny when you think about what this would look like in other examples. It could be:

  • wearing a Padres hat and Giants jersey to a Dodgers game
  • wearing a Bears hat and Vikings jersey to a Packers game
  • wearing a Celtics hat and Clippers jersey to a Lakers game
  • wearing a Bruins hat and Sidney Crosby Penguins jersey to a Flyers game

The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Elite troll job. S tier performance from this guy.
