“I Think You Need to Watch Your Language There” – Mets Announcers Talk About “Stroking it Out”

Let’s check in on the Mets’ broadcast:
It's 11:45pm on the east coast and we've lost all control in the booth 😂 pic.twitter.com/hceBsq4fpU

Gary Cohen and Keith Hernandez here. I love the save attempt –
“Stroking out is something we don’t want to be doing!.. from a medical standpoint do you know what stroking out means? (laughing) My mind goes places..”
I believe this is a triple entendre. We could be talking about a baseball stroke, a medical stroke, or masturbation, depending on what you actually hear or what you pretend to hear. There’s nothing like a good triple entendre.
The Mets are 38-19 and way out in front in the NL East. Phillies 11.5 games back, but if we know anything about anything about the division, New York will find a way to disappoint and Atlanta will find their way into the postseason.
Good morning.
