And for Middleton, it’s the umpteenth example of him doing right by the fans, and engaging them and making himself present. He could be a douchebag owner who just sits in the luxury box, but he is not that. He’s always down around the gates and concourse, chatting with Phillies supporters, bringing them up to his suite, giving them food and drinks, and just being a good dude in general. Stuff like that goes a long way in this town. Shout out John Middleton. Four more and we’re getting that fuckin’ trophy back.
