These assholes. Look at this:

Yes that’s Dolph Lundgren doing a Zaxby’s chicken commercial in Philadelphia. They are using Ivan Drago to troll us during the NLDS in an attempt to sell bogus cheesesteaks. Outrageous.

Inbox:

Zaxby’s, a southeastern chain of fried chicken restaurants, is giving Philly the finger – make that a chicken finger. The company is rolling out the Fried Chicken Philly nationally and using Dolph Lundgren as the spokesperson.

Lundgren was recently spotted at the top of the Art Museum steps filming a commercial raising his arms in a victory position hoisting the new sandwich. Zaxby’s new commercials featuring Lundgren and the Fried Chicken Philly begin airing nationally on Wednesday, October 11.

Saucy Southern chicken restaurant Zaxby’s is putting its own spin on an all-time classic: the Philly cheesesteak. For their Philly, Zaxby’s is going “witout” the beef and instead featuring Zaxby’s signature fried or grilled chicken, savory garlic aioli, and a combination of melted American cheese, grilled peppers and onions served on a toasted hoagie roll.

While Zaxby’s has over 900 locations throughout the U.S., the closest restaurant is 169 miles away from Rocky’s hometown in Chantilly, VA.

“Philadelphia and I have a decades long history,” said Lundgren. “So when Zaxby’s came to me ready to take on the city’s iconic sandwich with a Philly of their own, I knew it would be fun to be part of this campaign.”

After all, the mere existence of the saucy new Fried Chicken Philly is fuel for some spirited debate about the reign of the Philly cheesesteak. To spur the conversation, Zaxby’s decided to go all in, daring to show off its mouthwatering sandwich in Philadelphia.

Undeterred, Zaxby’s has brought the Fried Chicken Philly to the City of Brotherly Love via a series of boastful billboards, only in Philadelphia.

And so far, according to Zaxby’s, the campaign is working. In the first three weeks, the Fried Chicken Philly has beat sales expectations, selling at almost three times the forecasted rate.

Putting its money where its mouth is, the company is even considering setting up a pop-up food truck in the coming weeks in Philadelphia itself, so local residents will be able to judge for themselves which sandwich is the true champion.

Alright, so it’s a good troll job. We’ll give them that. Points for creativity. They don’t have Zaxby’s above the Mason-Dixon line, or in any state where people actually graduate from high school, but it’s like Kentucky Fried Chicken if KFC also sold sandwiches. Zaxby’s honestly isn’t that bad, if you like sodium. Grab a stent and prepare your arteries before consumption.

Here are some photos of this despicable shit. Phils in 4:
