Diamondbacks Twitter Account Upset Phillies Fans Bought Up All the Tickets at Chase Field

What was the Diamondbacks plan here? Do they think their fans would’ve bought these tickets behind the dugout if they were given the chance? The ticket bit didn’t gain steam until five hours before game time:

Every tweet I saw was of Phillies fans buying tickets in the $9-$20 range. I didn’t see anyone blowing money on tickets behind the dugout they weren’t going to use. Here’s a solution: Get a better fanbase. Have some pride in your team. Your fans handed us an opportunity to make you look like a fool and we took it. They can’t fork over nine bucks while debt collectors in Philadelphia are licking their chops knowing business is going to be BOOMING in a couple months. TBS continues to claim there are 50,000 people at Chase currently. Maybe in paid attendance:
