Jeff Goldman at NJ.com:

A New Jersey man who formerly worked as a television reporter in Philadelphia has been arrested on child pornography charges.

Cleve Bryan was charged by police in Washington Township, Gloucester County with endangering the welfare of children by possessing child pornography, the department said in a brief statement.

I worked with this guy at Channel 3. He mainly did South Jersey reporting, like a bureau chief of sorts. Bryan left Eyewitness News in 2020 and his Linkedin currently lists him as a self-employed media and marketing consultant. He also worked at NBC 40 down the shore, which has been defunct for some time now.

There’s not a ton of information in the court docket. It’s a third degree charge officially described as “KNOW POSS/VIEW/CTRL <1K ITEMS CHILD SEX EXPLOIT/ABUSE.” The warrant was issued on 10/16, last Monday, then executed on Wednesday, the 18th. The NJ.com story notes that he was “taken to the Salem County jail ahead of a first appearance in court.”
