Press release from Goldey-Beacom College:

Wilmington, DE – Goldey-Beacom College (GBC) today announced that SportsRadio 94 WIP’s original sports talker, Howard Eskin, will deliver the commencement address for the 137th graduation ceremonies to be held Friday, May 3, 2024, on the GBC campus.

Preceding the commencement ceremony, President Colleen Perry Keith will present Eskin with an honorary Doctor of Media and Communications Degree. The honor has been formally approved by the Goldey-Beacom College Honorary Degree Committee with all appropriate honors, rights, privileges and responsibilities.

Goldey-Beacom a small private university just outside of Wilmington. They play in the D2 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference, featuring schools like Chestnut Hill, Felician University, and Holy Family.

But yeah, The King is delivering the commencement address in May, and Crossing Broad has obtained an exclusive copy of his speech:

“Good afternoon, graduates, and congratulations. Education is the key that unlocks the future. And Joel Embiid is a FRAUD. The Eagles are the greatest team ever and can do no wrong. Don’t be a nitwit, dope, or moron. Thank you, and best of luck.”

Howard usually leaves Philly sporting events early, so we’ll see if he sticks around to finish his speech. He might just do a couple of paragraphs, and then call it a day.

Other than that, Eskin receiving an honorary doctorate is great. He’s now officially a “genius.” Can’t figure out how to operate a phone, but knows how to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for charity. He is THE KING for a reason.
