Richard Simmons died over the weekend. He starred in one of the best “This is SportsCenter” commercials back in the day:

Hilarious. “Type those stories, type those stories.. check those sources, check those sources.” It was gold. Nothing tops the SportsCenter commercials of 20-25 years ago. Look at the talent in that clip alone. Stuart Scott, Brian Kenny, Jay Harris, and Simmons himself, of course. Seemed like a positive and energetic dude who just wanted to help people. RIP.
