UPDATE
: Annnnd… removed. Something tells me this won't be the last ticket that gets put up for sale and then escalated to a ludicrous amount, forcing its removal.

This… is out of control. The eBay auction we told you about earlier for Joe Paterno Memorial tickets quickly escalated from $26 to around $200… but now the current bid stands at $65,000

Something seems fishy.

A closer look at the bid history shows multiple bidders, all with decent eBay ratings, using "automatic bid" and offering up to $50,000 now $65,000

Most likely, some Penn Staters are screwing with the bidding, with the intent of not paying and disrupting the auction so someone can’t profit off Joe Pa’s death. Plus, eBay is going to shut this down since they have a policy against selling “free” tickets.

We’ll keep an eye on it.
