94 WIP Asks if this is a Prove-it Year for Jalen Hurts, Who Won Super Bowl MVP 10 Weeks Ago

lol
Wow, good question! We’ve all been wondering. Is this a prove-it year for the reigning Super Bowl MVP? Is the jury still out on Jalen Hurts, who went 17-22 for 221 yards and two touchdowns while running for 72 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries? He did have that one interception! Dock him a million points and call him a game manager. We want Tanner McKee!
(Hurts also threw for 246 yards and had four touchdowns in the NFC Championship Game)
If you listen to the WIP afternoon show, you know the task in front of Hurts is Herculean. Hurts will not prove himself worthy until he follows up this Super Bowl victory with a World Series title and Stanley Cup. He also has to fix the SEPTA funding problem and find a way to build the Roosevelt Boulevard Subway while working a second job doing overnight sandwich making at Wawa. Only then will he be accepted as the Eagles quarterback of the future.
