God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers, and apparently the big guy upstairs has been testing us for years because the Phillies don’t exactly have the most illustrious history. But there’s no question he’s a Phillies fan now that the boys are 7-0 since this Phillies fan lifted up a cross in the outfield last week. If you remember, the Phillies were down 3-1 against the Pirates before rattling off four runs in the 7th and one more later in the game to start their winning streak. Now they haven’t lost since and have the NL’s best record:

Now could it also be the fact that the Phillies played the Pirates and Rockies back to back? Maybe, but that sounds like the thought of a guy who’s dabbled in a little Delco Satanic Club in his day…

…then again this might be witchcraft:

But still, if you can’t give these guys their due, then you sound like someone who might be partaking in one or two of the Seven Deadly Sins. Pride and greed seem to be the leading catalysts of your Negadelphian attitude. A little bit of St. Peter in ya if you ask me. Deny, deny, deny. Come on, these guys aren’t just winning by the skin of their teeth, they’re whooping up on these inferior teams. Have we gotten so spoiled that we’ve forgotten the times when the Fightins used to struggle with bottom of the barrel? Can we not enjoy the best 50-game start in franchise history? I mean, he did send his only begotten son:
