Phillies Money Line at Great Price Behind Ranger Suarez vs. Marlins

It’s easy to just bet the Phillies money line at -170 and nothing else on Wednesday.
The Phils are turning to Ranger Suarez off a loss in the second game of a four-game set in Miami.
The Marlins are countering with Adam Mazur, a pitcher making his first major-league appearance of 2025 and who owns a 3.62 ERA in the minors with the Triple-A Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp.
Despite the 8-3 loss on Tuesday, the Phils still had eight hits, two of which came off Trea Turner’s bat.
Turner has homered in back-to-back games and is on a three-game multi-hit streak, so it’s obvious that any player prop picks begin with the shortstop. Turner’s over 1.5 total bases prop sits at -115 and he is +600 to go yard again.
Mazur gave up 11 home runs in the minors. Seven of them came to left-handed bats, but righties had a batting average 29 points better than lefties against him.
I’d look to Turner or Kyle Schwarber for BetMGM’s Home Run No Sweat Token. Turner has far higher odds, so that would be the way I sway for that promo.
The splits for righties aren’t as drastic as they were last night with Turner and Alec Bohm, but they are still the top batter prop targets for the Phils. Bohm has a hit in seven of his last eight games dating back to last Monday.
The money line pick is so easy to bet, not because of the hot hitters at the top of the lineup, but because of Ranger Suarez’s form on the mound.
Ranger allowed three earned runs in 20 innings in June and he completed seven innings in each of his last two appearances against the Pirates and Blue Jays.
Suarez’s outs recorded prop sits at 18.5 with a plus-money price on the over. He’s also -105 to record a win.
Those two props are the best ones to target because it is assumed he will shut down the Marlins lineup. A year ago, Suarez had two scoreless starts against Miami (one lasted seven innings and another lasted five frames), but he did allow six earned runs on 10 hits in the other one of those three starts.
The high concession last June is more of an outlier than anything because Suarez proved over the last year-and-a-half that he’s one of the most reliable arms on the staff.
With that in mind, I’d look to PA sports betting apps and use bet365’s 30 percent profit boost on a SGP with Phillies money line and Turner and Bohm to get hits. That sits at +130 before the boost is applied.
