John Bolaris says Lawsuits Against Philly Mag are Going Out Today

Last month, Philadelphia meteorologist/realtor John Bolaris told everyone that he was going to take down Philly Magazine and Victor “Fiorella,” who is actually Victor Fiorillo.
That declaration stemmed from Philly Mag reporting that Bolaris was recently banned from a restaurant called Dear Daphni after kissing a Penn professor on the shoulder at the bar. The professor, Ragini Verma, told Philly Mag she was filing a police report, and Bolaris responded by saying that video proves he did not have any “inappropriate engagement” with the woman.
Now he’s back with a riposte, saying that “2 more lawsuits going out on Monday” and sharing this on social:

They spelled his name wrong again, so there’s that. Perhaps Philly Mag could respond by saying “we don’t employ someone named Victor Fiorello,” and that would suffice.
Beyond that? Dunno. We’d have to get an expert in here to see if there’s a legitimate defamation case to build. What we do know is that Bolaris took down that crime ring after they sent Eastern European hookers after him in Miami, so if I’m Philly Mag, I’m not taking this lightly.
FWIW I do not see anything in the court system right now, but that could change. This is a developing story!
