“Right-handed pitcher Jordan Romano was placed on the 15-day injured list with right middle finger inflammation following last night’s game. Right-handed pitcher Joe Ross was released following last night’s game.”
Feels like one of those IL stints that the player doesn’t return from. Talking Romano, of course. He was brutal on Monday night, basically a waving of the white flag when he entered the game. He’s up to an 8.23 ERA on the season, which is almost quadruple the number he was putting up as a Blue Jay.
ANYWAY, let’s hope the Phils go out and beat the hell out of the Mets in game two.
