The Phillies made a ton of roster moves on Monday, but most importantly, the update on Trea Turner’s hamstring:

The Phillies believe Turner’s situation is a positive outcome, and they expect him to be ready for the postseason, potentially even earlier.

Alec Bohm is heading to the 10-day IL with shoulder soreness, and he’ll have to receive injections over the next few days. Rob Thomson said they expect Bohm back once the 10-day limit is up.

Some other updates:

  • Otto Kemp was recalled and will start at third base in game 1 against the Mets
  • The Phillies selected the contract of INF Donovan Walton, who hit .270 with 13 homers and 65 RBIs in AAA this season between Syracuse and Lehigh Valley
  • Brandon Marsh is not in the lineup due to the flu. Thomson said Marsh is at Citizens Bank Park sleeping
  • Bryce Harper is hitting leadoff for the first time since the hangover game in 2022, the day after the Phillies clinched a postseason berth.
  • Daniel Robert is heading to the 60-day IL, meaning his season is over

Here’s tonight’s lineup as the Phillies open up a 4-game series with the Mets at Citizens Bank Park. It’s a funky one:
