This is outrageous! I’m outraged:

52% of Eagles fans walking around with a sexually-transmitted disease? There’s no way that’s true, outside of the Upper Perk area. Heyo!

There is, of course, no citation in this post, no data or evidence or anything like that, because this is the internet we’re talking about here. A cursory Googling, however, brings us to CDC data on Syphillis, Gonorrhea, and Chlamydia, aka the “big 3” of STDs. This data is from 2023 and says that Pennsylvania and New Jersey were well below the average rates per 100,000 people. In most cases, the top 10 was comprised of Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, the Carolinas, and Georgia. New York did rank in the top 10 for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea, with per-100,000 rates of 558.4 and 235.6, respectively. Delaware was relatively average, so our Eagles fan brethren in Wilmington and beyond are keeping things clean.

No data for NFL fans with STDs though, nothing that I could find.

How would this data even be gathered anyway? –

Doctor: Alright let’s go over some questions here. Number one, do you have AIDS?

Patient: Yes.

Doctor: And are you a Birds fan?

Patient: Yes.

Doctor: And are you willing to share this information for medical research and study?

Patient: Yes.

There’s no way. Until further notice, this is fake news. Dubious! Disrespectful! Everybody knows that Birds fans are sexually responsible.
