The Facebook Scam Accounts are Hard at Work Attributing Fake Charlie Kirk Quotes to Eagles and Phillies Players

Not a lot of traction on the first one, which is more recent, but the Kepler post, with basically the same copy, has more than 4,300 likes at this point, and a ton of interaction. It’s genuinely hard to tell how many of the responses are from clueless boomers vs. Asian bots, but both combine to turn a Venn Diagram into a circle.
Anyway, this first account, Soar High Philly, is registered to 901 Market Street, which is part of the Gallery, through the pin drop on the map shows up in the middle of the ocean, so obviously a fake image there. The page manager is in Vietnam.
The second account, Philly Hustlers, is registered to 16th and Chestnut, so Liberty Place, but the map marker shows a fake Pennsylvania town called “Saint Clair,” which doesn’t exist. There’s a town called “St. Clair” up in Schuylkill County, but a bad AI image spells the town wrong and puts route 209 in the wrong spot. Pretty funny that they picked Russ Joy’s home area to rip off. Their page management is listed as Vietnam and the Philippines.
Anyway, a reader pointed out after the last story that sometimes these fake accounts hack inactive accounts and take over with an existing follower base. The one account looks like it belonged to something called JC GAMING, which could be anybody or anything. But the bottom line is that all of this is fake shit and should be reported. It’s appearing in the algorithm. It’s compromising the work of honest and hard-working sports bloggers.
