Mets Fans in Shambles After Getting Swept Out of CBP by the Fightin’ Phils

lol
So good. Jesus Luzardo went eight full innings and didn’t give up a run after the 1st. The Phils kept chipping away, took the lead in the 6th, and then Jhoan Duran struck out the side in the 9th, the side being Juan Soto, Pete Alonso, and Mark Vientos. All three looked like complete dopes at the plate, like they had no clue what was coming. The Mets are obviously cheating at Citi Field, we just need to figure out how they’re doing it.
The Phils, meantime, have played some of their best baseball this week, and they did it without both Zack Wheeler and Trea Turner. Incredible. They’re now 11 games up in the NL East. They can absolutely catch the Milwaukee Brewers. First place and the #1 seed is not out of the question. If this team shows up in October, watch out!
