The Phillies ended their regular season on Sunday afternoon with a 2-1 extra-inning walk-off win against the Minnesota Twins, finishing with a 96-66 record. It’s the 6th-most regular season wins in franchise history.

Clinching their second-straight NL East title, the Phillies will kick off Red October on Saturday, October 4th at Citizens Bank Park against the winner of the Dodgers/Reds NL Wild Card Series.

If you missed it, the Mets missed the postseason. LOLMets!

Obtaining home-field NLDS advantage was a ginormous accomplishment for this team. The Phillies went 55-26 at home in 2025. Their 55 wins at CBP in one season is a new franchise record. It’s the 2nd-best record they’ve ever had at home, only trailing the 1977 Phillies, who won 60 games at Veterans Stadium.

55-26 is an .865 winning percentage, which ties the 2019 Houston Astros for the best home series winning percentage across all of baseball since 1965. The Phillies’ 22-2-3 home series record is the highest in MLB this season, the best percentage in franchise history, the 5th-highest in the National League since 1900, and the best by any NL team since 1962. Over the last 162 games at Citizens Bank Park, the Phillies are 110-53.

The team will get a few days off after securing the bye a few days ago. They’ll do an intrasquad scrimmage on Wednesday night, which the Phillies have already sold 20,000 tickets for. They’ll do a couple workouts before and after that, and then Cristopher Sanchez will gets things started on Saturday the 4th.
