Yankee Stadium the Scene of an Uber-Rare Honorable Fan Fight

I’ve watched this a few times. It happened outside Yankee Stadium after game 1 between the Yanks and Red Sox and what’s most interesting is how civil it is:
Not sure that’s a Red Sox fan vs. a Yankees fan. It could be Yankee-on-Yankee crime, since the guy with the crazy hair isn’t wearing anything that identifies him as a SAWKS fan.
But yeah, crazy how composed and honorable this fight was. These fan melees are never fair. Usually its 3v2, 2v1, or some other lopsided number. You usually have people taking cheap shots and going after fans who aren’t even looking. That’s typically what happens when 49ers fans or Cowboys fans are fighting other fans, or themselves.
In this case, there’s a cat-and-mouse game going on initially. Orthodox vs. Southpaw. Yankee fan has smart distance control and is feeling out crazy hair. You can see that crazy hair wants to get in close, maybe take down Yankee fan or do some dirty boxing in the clinch. He charges in and dodges a counter right hook from Yankees fan, then eats a couple of shots before getting the fight to the ground. At that point, security comes in with a K9, and crazy hair is trying to secure a rear-naked choke, but the fight is broken up before we see the outcome.
Pretty good brouhaha, if we’re being honest. And the spectators let it play out without getting involved. Good scrap, fellas.
