The 9-9-9 Challenge Comes to Citizens Bank Park for Red October

This feels like a story Pagan should be writing, since he owns the baseball hot dog beat, but he had the audacity to take off on his wedding day:
The 9-9-9 challenge is this viral thing where you’re supposed to drink nine beers and eat nine hot dogs over the course of a nine-inning game. Not the Herman Cain tax plan, but a baseball food and drink challenge, basically one beer and one dog per inning.
These particular glizzies and beers are small. Pagan could definitely do this. I’ve seen him drink the equivalent of eight Miller Lites and run a full mile like it was nothing. So there’s no doubt in my mind he could complete this challenge.
Only thing here is that all of the hot dogs and beers come in the same box, at the same time. So if you eat them all at once, like Joey Chestnut, no problem. But by the 7th inning the dogs are cold and the beers are warm, which adds to the challenge. I guess by that point you don’t care anymore. You’re tuned all the way up and the Phillies are smoking the Dodgers’ bullpen while Citizens Bank Park goes absolutely nuts. Ring the Bell! Campanazzo!
Bottom line, I think you have to support the 9-9-9 challenge at CPB. What’s the worst that could happen?
