Mike Missanelli Lands New Gig with Fideri News Network (UPDATED)
After a shock summer layoff that saw Mike Missanelli depart 97.5 the Fanatic for a second time, he has a new gig.
Mike will join Fideri News Network as host of The Mike Missanelli Podcast, which will be part of the OnPattison podcast network. Additionally, he’ll host the OnPattison Eagles Post Game Report, which is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a Birds post game show.
This is all part of a larger Fideri foray into multimedia, with a slew of other shows to be announced shortly. That includes an additional Eagles show with Adam Caplan and Geoff Mosher, plus Phillies, Flyers, and a golf show as well.
If you have no idea what Fideri News Network is, that’s probably because it’s six weeks old. It’s a group of media properties that includes On Pattison, Broad + Liberty, and their associated sister sites, almost two dozen in total. That includes the network of hyper-local “Now” sites, among them North Penn Now, Wissahickon Now, and Delco Now. The portfolio also has a slew of shore-focused sites, like OCNJ Daily, Sea Isle News, and Breaking AC.
Recall, if you will, that Missanelli was working with BetRivers between Fanatic stints. He hosted a podcast while also doing the Eagles games for JAKIB Media. That’s currently in litigation after Missanelli sued JAKIB owner Joe Krause, claiming that he was not fully paid for the work done. Krause’s argument is that Missanelli did not fulfill his contractual obligations, nor was the contract even signed. We’re about 14 months into discovery with no resolution.
What Mike will do for Fideri is essentially what he was doing between 2022 and 2024. There’s a podcast element and Eagles postgame element.
EDIT – dropping in the full press release:
The Fideri News Network continues to grow its footprint, making a significant leap into the multimedia space announcing the launch of its new podcast platform, OnPattison — a collection of programs featuring some of Philadelphia’s best-known sports personalities alongside fresh, locally produced content.
The move builds on Fideri’s existing broadcast foundation through WBCB 107.3FM/1490AM, the company’s flagship radio station and official broadcast partner of both the Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles. WBCB already hosts more than 150 live events each year and produces hundreds of high school sports broadcasts across the region. Those shows will now be integrated into the wider Fideri News Network, expanding their reach to digital and on-demand audiences throughout Greater Philadelphia.
Under the OnPattison banner, listeners can expect a robust mix of new and familiar voices, including:
● The Mike Missanelli Podcast, hosted by veteran broadcaster Mike Missanelli and journalist Anthony SanFilippo, offering candid and unfiltered takes on Philadelphia sports.
● OnPattison Eagles Post Game Report with Mike Missanelli, breaking down every Eagles matchup with humor and insight.
● Snow The Goalie, featuring SanFilippo, Russ Joy, and former Flyers defenseman Chris Therien, delivering insider access to all things Flyers.
● Pin High: The Philadelphia Golf Show, hosted by Francesca Ruscio, spotlighting golf culture and stories across the region.
● OnPattison’s Bull Session with John Brazer and Tommy Greene, providing inside baseball analysis from a former Phillie’s perspective.
● OnPattison’s Pro Football Report with Adam Kaplan and Geoff Mosher, breaking down football strategy and trends.
● Phillies Stoplight with Tim Kelly and Anthony SanFilippo, offering a data-driven look at key Phillies moments and performances.
The launch isn’t limited to Fideri’s sports offerings. Later this fall, Fideri plans to introduce business and civic programming, including Voices of Reason, Five on the Future, and Keystone Business Report, along with a Daily News Video Brief highlighting top local headlines.
“This expansion represents the next step in Fideri’s evolution — bringing together trusted voices, local journalism, and live sports under one multimedia roof,” said Terry Tracy,
Publisher and CEO of Fideri News Network. “Our goal is to create authentic, community-driven content for listeners who care about how our story is told — both on and off the field.”
Each show will feature custom visuals, social media content, and weekly episodes distributed across Fideri’s local news sites, YouTube, and all major podcast platforms.
