Dallas Goedert caught two touchdown passes in the Eagles’ 38-20 win against the Giants on Sunday afternoon. Here’s TD 6 and 7, which eclipse his previous single-season high of five TD receptions:

Double slants and then a read and pull for a short toss. Two of the Eagles’ best and most consistent plays in the entire book.

For Goedert, that’s now 289 yards and seven scores on the season. He’s only played seven of the eight games, missing Week 2 in Kansas City, but has been targeted 39 times and caught 30 of those passes. He’s averaging a flat one touchdown per-game number, so if he plays 16 of 17, that’s 16 TDs, and if the Eagles get to a point where they’re resting starters, that’s 15 touchdowns in 16 games. That’s unlikely, of course, but it’s how the numbers extrapolate.

No matter how you look at it, he’s been excellent this year. A guy who was the subject of offseason trade speculation and took a restructured one-year deal worth $10 million to stay in Philadelphia. He’s been especially deadly in the red zone, where the tush push has been less frequent in recent games, and finds himself consistent target in this resurgent Eagles passing offense.
