The Flyers head into their four-game road swing with a decent chunk of momentum.

Look, I know, the three wins in four games came against a lowly St. Louis team and a Jack Hughes-less New Jersey, but momentum is real in a long season.

They’ll need some of the positive momentum for the first two legs of the trip in Florida, starting as a +150 money-line underdog at BetMGM for Monday’s clash with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Tampa Bay won three of four and five of seven, but they’re dealing with some injury issues. Victor Hedman is on the IR, Brayden Point won’t play on Monday, and Nikita Kucherov, who will play on Monday, was banged up this weekend.

The defensive task is easier than it would be against a full-strength Lightning squad, and offensively, Rick Tocchet found another strong connection through his line reconfiguration.

The Travis Konecny/Noah Cates/Tyson Foerster played a role in multiple goals against the Devils on Saturday. Foerster and Cates had two of the four highest shots on goal totals across the Flyers roster as well.

Foerster’s been more active in front of the net in November. He’s got multiple shots on goal in five of six games and he scored in back-to-back games. Foerster is -155 to have Over 1.5 shots on goal at bet365.

The numbers suggest Travis Konecny and Owen Tippett could find success against the Lightning as well. Tampa Bay ranks 10th in most shots on goal per game allowed to right wingers. I’d lean more toward Konecny’s SOG prop just because of how well his line has played recently.

The combo of Foerster/Konecny/Cates is +400 at bet365 to all record a point. I’d look into the straights for all three. Foerster is +130, Cates is +135 and Konecny is -125 to record a point.

As for Tampa Bay, Kucherov, Jake Guentzel, and Brandon Hagel are the three guys to stop. Hagel is ripping shots at a remarkable rate this month. He has 28 shots on goal in nine November games. He’s over his shots on goal prop of 2.5 six times in those nine games. He’s the one Lightning player I’d bet.

If you want to combo players from both teams, I’d go with Hagel o2.5 SOG and Foerster o1.5 SOG to put you at +220. If you bump Foerster up to 3+ SOG you get to +490 at bet365.
