Let’s crowdsource. Anybody know what Kelee Ringo is doing here?

He’s lined up on Treylon Burks. Burks motions inside, then begins to run block when the ball is snapped. Ringo recovers on the bootleg and is in a good position to make a play on Josh Johnson, but he peels off looking for someone to cover instead.

My guess is that he thinks there might be an open receiver behind him? So he gambles on that to try to make a play? Dunno. That’s the best I can come up with. If anything, just close down the QB and try to get a hand on the pass if he does throw it. Terry McLaurin was coming across the back of the end zone late, but by the time he got there, Johnson was basically in the end zone.

Can’t wait to see the all-22 of this play.
