Adam Joseph Calls Out “Wannabe” Weather Forecasters and Social Media Click Bait
Adam Joseph out here laying the smack down on these posers:
Hear hear! I’m all for Adam Joseph going on the offensive and dancing on graves. Call out the amateurs and let ’em know. This is Joseph kindly saying “you motherfuckers better not doubt us ever again,” and he’s justified because the meteorologists pretty much nailed the forecast. They called for accumulating snow beginning Sunday overnight, then turning to freezing rain and a wintry mix, at least across the majority of the city and northern and western suburbs, and that’s exactly what happened.
You have to think about the renewed pressure these folks are under in 2026. Forecasting is big business in the television world. The useless consultants are constantly up the asses of news directors and general managers, telling them to put weather high in the show and hit the snow predictions hard. Not only do the meteorologists have to be accurate for all of the people on television, their bosses, and their bosses’ bosses; now you have all of these candy asses on Twitter who think they know atmospheric science better than the people with Mississippi State degrees.
You thought it was bad in sports with @Mike1576894 telling you that you don’t know ball? Imagine you’ve been in meteorology for decades and here comes some guy named “Monkey Butt” to tell you your business:

The counterpoint is that Adam Joseph and others are doing what Chris Rock mentioned in that one skit and “taking credit for some shit they’re supposed to do.” Fair enough, yeah? It’s their job to forecast and tell everybody what the weather is going to be. But we’re living in a world where there’s a lot of media distrust (fake news, etc), and they’re sensitive to it because people are constantly doubting them and constantly questioning them. These are natural reactions and they aren’t much different than a Joel Embiid DX crotch chop or Ja Morant pulling out the bazooka after an icy three-pointer. No matter what field you work in, you gotta stand on business and shut these fools down when they come for you.
“God damnit! That is why I did it! Are you kidding me? Who do you THINK YOU ARE? I AM! Get it right!” Adam Joseph after nailing the forecast:
