Cooter update:

Laugh all you want, but Philly just lost John Bolaris to Florida and could use a replacement J Bo in town. Cooter’s resume is strong, as we pointed out Tuesday on the website. He is currently the Colts’ offensive coordinator and was previously the Lions’ offensive coordinator, where he called plays for Matt Stafford. He spent a year in the Eagles organ-I-zation as an offensive consultant and had recent stops in Jacksonville and New York (Jets) and has more than 15 years of coaching experience at the NFL level in various roles.

Then, there’s the obvious. The Eagles hiring Jim Bob Cooter would be great for this blog. The Cooter headlines alone could replace the site traffic we’ve lost to artificial intelligence and those despicable Asian scammers. And just think about the WIP callers saying “Cooter” with their hoagie mouths. The entertainment possibilities are endless. They stretch further than a Philadelphia Eagles hitch route.
