This is pretty good:

Dr. Jonathan Glashow is now up to 4.9 stars out of five on 558 reviews. There were three five-star reviews within the last hour, so Sixers fans are continuing to shower the MD with thanks and praise.

Joel has played 12 games in January, mostly sitting out during back-to-back situations. He’s averaging 28.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 3.6 turnovers this month and looks the best he’s looked in almost two full years. Philly is 8-4 with him since the calendar flipped to 2026.

Not only did Glashow patch up Embiid, but he did an arthroscopic procedure on Paul George’s knee after PG injured himself during a summer workout. George has played 26 games and is averaging 16/5/4 while shooting 38.5% from three, so it’s really a minor miracle that both guys have been out there with some regularity and playing well. It’s all about getting into the playoffs, seed be damned, and having a healthy team.

When the Sixers beat the Thunder in the finals, a statue of Dr. Glashow should be erected outside of Xfinity Mobile Arena. Check that – get a really big crane and put the Dr. Glashow statue on top of one or both of the Comcast towers. Play the song, Choonis!
