There was a Tush Push in the Pro Bowl Games

The NFC won the Pro Bowl, which apparently was on Tuesday night.

Closing out the W, they used the tush push:

Refs blew the whistle way too early. Jalen Hurts still had both flags and forward progress wasn’t stopped. Boooooo! Get your head in the game!

One thing to consider is that if the Eagles hired Jim Bob Cooter as OC, we could have renamed the tush push as “The Cooter Cram,” or “The Cooter Crush.” But the Eagles didn’t hire J Bo, they hired Sean Mannion and Josh Grizzard as offensive coordinator and pass game guy. The alliterative options aren’t as good for the letters M and G. In fact, there’s not a single synonym for “push” or “shove” that begins with either letter. I even put words like “bulldoze” and “ram” and “maraud” into the search box and nothing good came up.

But it’s not even the Eagles’ play anymore, if you think about it. The Bills co-opted the shove and became tush push merchants. It’s really the “Allen Assist” these days. That team was nothing without the play, and they also were pretty much nothing with it.
