Maybe Aidan Miller was Shoveling Snow
Bryce Harper was on Sunday’s spring training broadcast and just casually mentioned that Aidan Miller is injured:
“I need him to get healthy because he could help us by the end obviously.”
This was news at the time because the Phillies hadn’t said anything about a Miller injury. Rob Thomson was asked about it afterward and said Miller has a sore back.
This from Todd Zolecki at MLB.com:
“Thomson said Miller got to the ballpark one morning recently complaining of the back soreness. He said he doesn’t believe Miller did anything on the field to injure himself, although he was hit by a pitch during live batting practice last week.”
Maybe he was shoveling snow before leaving for Florida. It’s been outrageous in these parts. We got another damn foot overnight! And the worst part is that the snow from four weeks ago only just melted this week. It’s a huge slap in the face. We’re ragged and worn down. We need sunshine and 70 degrees. Punxsutawney Phil can get absolutely wrecked. Fat rodent.
