A very diplomatic answer. It’s funny though; I guarantee the editorial people at TMZ gave out the most generic command of all time: “Find me a teammate of Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown.” So they found Julio Jones, who played 12 games for the Birds in 2023 and caught 14 passes (three for touchdowns, actually). Was Robert Quinn not available? What about Mario Goodrich or Shaq Leonard? We won’t be satisfied until we hear from Noah Togiai on the Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown WEDDING CONTROVERSY!
This reminds me of when I worked at Eyewitness News back in the day. The bosses always liked to “localize” a national or international story. Common television strategy. For instance, when Russia invaded Ukraine we went up to Somerton and found a bunch of Ukrainians to talk to. Our track record of doing this was close to 100%. If there was a mudslide in Papua New Guinea, we’d find the one fucking Papua New Guinean living in the Philadelphia area and would put him on camera to talk about the mudslide. It was incredible.
