Yeah, the All-Star Game Sucked, but at Least Zack Hample Was Booooooooooooed

I was thinking to myself last night, “you know, we made it through All-Star week without seeing Zack Hample.“
Then, this video hit the feed:
This video made me laugh because initially I thought Hample was holding up the ball to somebody’s face and taunting them, like, “look at what I’ve got right here! I’ve got a ball and you don’t!” Then it zooms out at the end you realize this fucking dork is being filmed, presumably for his YouTube channel.
In that case, kudos 1) to the crowd for boooooing him, and 2) to the guy in the blue shirt and the gray crocs for interrupting his take and making Hample re-do it. I wanna shake this guy’s hand and then take him to a Livvy Dunne guest bartending event at Stateside Live!. There, I will ask him what he said to Hample between these takes. You can see that Hample says something to blue shirt/gray crocs, but the audio is low and his back is turned, so we can’t even get George Costanza’s lip reader involved.
There’s been a lot of hemming and hawing about booing this week. A lot of stories written about it and a lot of opinions shared on social media. But I believe we are mostly in consensus that Zack Hample deserves the boos. Boo this man! Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
