Pennsylvania Online Casino Revenue Reaches $328.6 Million In August

Pennsylvania online casinos continue to see strong revenue numbers this summer.
In August, the collective PA online casinos tallied $328.6 million in revenue, the second-highest monthly total ever for The Keystone State.
It was a 5.3% jump from July’s $311.9 million, and a 9.6% increase compared to August 2025’s $291.5 million.
To put it even bigger perspective, PA online casinos recorded $225.0 million in iGaming revenue in August 2025. So, in two years, the online casinos in the state have brought in an additional $103.6 million. That’s a 46 increase in two years.
Breaking Down PA Online Casino August 2026 Revenue
Revenue for the month and fiscal year are provided by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB). Their reported totals are for adjusted gross revenue (AGR), which removes promotional dollars spent each month. The AGR for July was $245.7 million. We report the gross revenue total, which doesn’t factor in the promotional spend.
The PGCB also lists iGaming revenue by licensee, not by each online casino operator. Online casino gaming launch in PA in 2019 with 10 different retail casinos being granted licenses to operate in the state. Two other operators (Bally, Golden Nugget) earned untethered licenses. Many of the Pennsylvania licensees are tied to more than one online casino brand in the state. However, revenue is reported collectively.

August’s iGaming revenue brought in $73.4 million in state tax revenue, as well as an additional $40.0 million in county grants and local share assessments.
Revenue Up Nearly 13% in 2026
With a 12.7% year-over-year increase in August revenue, that has PA online casinos up 12.9% for the year compared to the first eight months of 2025.

Pennsylvania is averaging $315.5 million per month in online casino revenue. That’s a pretty impressive number.
If that average held up the rest of the year, the state would finished with $3.79 billion in iGaming revenue for 2026. That alone is a significant jump from $3.46 billion in 2025.
However, if the growth rate holds up, Pennsylvania would reach $3.91 billion in revenue for the year.
