Here We Have Jon Johnson Hanging Up on “Jerkoff” Herb in the Northeast
What a wonderful piece of radio this is:
Transcribed in full:
Jon Johnson: Herb in the.. well he’s not in the northeast, he’s in London. Herb, what’s up man?
Herb in the Northeast: Yeah I don’t understand you man, I was sitting, why you wanna have me hold on for over an hour and a half? Come on, dude.
Johnson: Well I got guys on hold man, you’re not getting priority on this show. Too bad.
Herb: I’m the number one guy.
Johnson: No.
Herb: I’m the number one guy.
Johnson: How about this? I’m gonna hang up on you now. Take a friggin’ hike. Don’t call me again, jackass. Number one guy, my ass. I’ll tell you this; you’re behind Mad Mike and Cowboy Jim now. Jerkoff. Take a hike. Don’t call the show again. You’re done. You wait on hold like everybody else, ass. You’re a worthless caller anyway. You don’t say anything. Waste my friggin’ time. Let the afternoon show waste time with you. Don’t piss me off this morning, Herb. Now’s not the time. Go bother somebody else in London. In fact, stay there with Sirianni. Hold him there with you. Ass.
Now this is some good stuff! My first time listening to WIP in months.* Jon makes me laugh because he sounds like the heckler from Happy Gilmore who pops up in the crowd to try to throw Adam Sandler off his game.
“You will not make this putt… jackass!”
Of course, Johnson is right. Herb is a jackass, ass, worthless, and a jerkoff, too. But the ultimate insult is placing him behind Mad Mike in the hierarchy of callers because Mad Mike is one of the dumbest individuals in the Philadelphia Metropolitan Statistical Area. His IQ cannot be any higher than 30. If Herb played Mad Mike in chess, he’d make Mad Mike look like Magnus Carlsen. That’s how wide the intellectual gap is here.
*People have been emailing about RADIO WARS ratings. I am sorry. We’re not going to do those anymore. I just can’t. I took WIP off the dial and haven’t listened at all during this Eagles season, and I have to say, it’s been really refreshing. But I’m not opposed to doing blog posts like this one. Just DM me or email me if there’s something funny and worth publishing.
