Chase Utley Played Some Baseball Today
By Kyle Scott
Published:
According to the beat reporters, Chase took part in what was called a simulated game. Rich Dubee pitched to him… It was his first time seeing live pitching since Spring Training.
It sounds like Chase is still a ways off from seeing any game action, but this is just another small step forward in his recovery- giant leap for, um, well, no one. No word on if he fielded. He will do the same on Tuesday.
Also via the beat writers: Dom Brown was moved off the DL and sent to AAA. Brown had two home runs in 15 at bats during a rehab assignment with Clearwater.
Roy Oswalt is scheduled to return to the team on Thursday, he could start Saturday or Sunday.
