Nerlens Noel Deserves to be Rookie of the Year

The above image was put together by the Sixers, via Tom Moore, to show just how historic Nerlens Noel’s season has been so far. The Rookie of the Year momentum is turning, but it’s still in Andrew Wiggins’ corner (because points). But when you put Nerlens’ numbers up against those in history — and not just rookies — you can actually see his superstar potential on paper. This weekend, he had 38 points and 25 rebounds in two games (most came on Friday night). He’s been incredible to watch. And now, I can’t wait to hear all of the “just wait until they trade him” comments.
When he's not writing about sports here or ranting about them on Twitter, Jim is probably watching X-Files on Netflix or drinking a beer somewhere. Jim has nothing against hockey, it's just not his style. He once met Duce Staley at a Sixers game.
