DeSean Jaccson, who can’t be stopped by anyone but who has always struggled in close-quarters press coverage, was injured today when he was blown up by… a blocking sled. From the Richmond Times-Dispatch:

Receiver DeSean Jackson was injured in the first 1-on-1 session of the day. He ran a long route, then appeared to hit his right shoulder against a blocking sled that was placed behind the end zone.

Jackson did not participate for the remainder of practice, and declined comment afterward. However, he remained on the field for several minutes after practice chatting and shaking hands with Houston players.

Just this week, DeSean reminded reporters that he can’t be stopped:

Didn’t say anything about inanimate metal objects, however. Wonder what this will do for his street cred, ya digg ?? What sucks is that the injury was witnessed by 7.8 billion people.

UPDATE: He has a Grade 2 separated shoulder and is out a couple of weeks.
