Wait, we don't do that.
Much ado is always made about Philly fans running onto the field (playing surface), yet, somehow, this incident in Boston flew under the radar.
A couple of Bruins fans jumped onto the ice during the team's game against Washington on Saturday night: [Boston Herald]
Jon Parker, 20, and Matt Parker, 17, scaled the boards and got onto the ice at the TD Garden, interrupting the game, police said.
The 9:30 p.m. incident delayed the game for a few minutes, police said. Authorities said they detected “a strong odor of alcohol emanating” from both suspects.
These are the same folks who threw condoms at our very own Adam Gonsiewskiburger. We see you, rest of the nation, disturbing the peace and acting disorderly. Keep it up. We'll keep posting.
Worse still, the other 19,000 Boston fans who didn't get this on camera. Not one clip exists on YouTube. I wonder if this will make it onto HBO's 24/7, a documentary that is currently filming the Penguins and Capitals.
At least Philly fans throw down when they jump over the glass.
H/T to Greg for sending
