Report: Cody Parkey Done for the Season, Eagles will Sign Caleb Sturgis

When we mentioned earlier that the Eagles were possibly bringing in a Cody Parkey replacement, it sounded about right. It’s not just that Cody Parkey was reportedly hurting, it was that he couldn’t reach the end zone on kickoffs. And apparently, he’s hurting so bad that the Eagles are just better-off putting him on the season-ending IR, and bringing in free agent Caleb Sturgis.
Sturgis last kicked for the Dolphins, where he hit 77.5% of his attempts in 32 career games.
