Heath Evans, Potential Idiot, Doubles Down on Eagles Offense Being Stupid, Has Awesome Solution to Fix It

Heath Evans, former NFL fullback, is an idiot. But since he’s the man who said the Eagles were not a top-10 team last year – which they weren’t at the end of the year – after they started 2-0 – and that Chip Kelly would be one of the worst pro coaches OF ALL TIME, he is so in vogue right now as the media is desirous to rip the limbs off poor old Chipper.
So when Evans called into the Mike Missanelli show, he was given time to spell out some of his thoughts:
“The guys around the league look at this offense, and the premise of it, there’s nothing genius about it. There’s more stupidity about it than genius.”
Sure, the offense doesn’t look great this year – though Chip is still 21-15 as a pro coach – and that has a lot to do with the piss-poor play of the offensive line. We all know that. So what would Heath do?
“Just line up, play some smash mouth football with your three, big, bad, awesome running backs, and let these guys have three or four awesome running plays … And just go maul people. Make things so simple that your offensive line isn’t over-thinking things, not over-stepping, over-reaching, and let these guys get their strengths and go make it happen.”
Evans’ plan is to run straight into the putrid o-line with awesome plays. Yeah, that’s a smarter plan.
