Free Beer for Browns Fans, on One Condition

Dilly Dilly.
Bud Light is doing a promotion for long-suffering Browns fans, explained by ESPN’s Darren Rovell:
JUST IN: Starting today, @budlight is installing “Victory Fridges” that will be full of beer in 10 Cleveland bars. When the Browns win first regular season game, fridges unlock and beer inside is free to fans. pic.twitter.com/DkRWkVkLkx

Hey that’s pretty cool. Free beer!
But what if the Browns don’t win a game? Rovell says the beers will be replaced once per month until Cleveland gets that first W.
Here’s their opening slate:
- vs. Steelers
- at Saints
- vs. Jets
- at Raiders
Hmm.. that’s an 0-2 start, but maybe they clip the Jets at home in week three. That’s a Thursday night game, so short turnaround for both teams. Maybe we’re treated to the Baker Mayfield vs. Sam Darnold bowl.
Now, honest question, say you’re at the bar watching the game and your bank account is relatively stable – would you rather drink a free Bud Light or pay 5 to 7 dollars for craft beer?
Actually, let’s do a poll:
