Chase Utley hung up his spikes for good this past fall after 16 seasons, ending his career with six All-Star appearances, four Silver Slugger Awards, and a 2008 World Series victory to his credit.

Having been relegated to a bench role a season ago, his final months on the field were relatively quiet, but his last games at Citizens Bank Park back in July were certainly a highlight.

The latest episode of Backstage Dodgers, a documentary-style close up of the team, goes inside Utley’s return to Philadelphia and chronicles his life as a father.

Take a trip down memory lane and watch one of the last great Phillies say goodbye before we say hello (I hope) to some of the next greats this offseason.
