Report: Sixers Sign Chick-fil-A Guard and Temple Product Khalif Wyatt
By Kyle Scott
Published:
Brilliant move by the Sixers. They are going to STANK this year, so why not sign hometown product and whore connoisseur (that fucking rhymes!) Khalif Wyatt, who, just earlier this summer, launched his post-Temple career at the Chick-fil-A in the King of Prussia Mall:
Fries with that no more. Keith Pompeyieieieieieieiyiyiy reports:
The undrafted rookie free agent out of Temple agreed to terms Thursday night to play for his hometown team. He will sign a partially guaranteed, mutli-year contract on Friday. The guard will be on the team’s roster when it opens the season against the Miami Heat on Oct. 30. But there’s a chance Wyatt could spend a portion of this season with the Delaware 87ers, the Sixers NBA Development League affiliate.
I had briefly blocked out the fact that there’s now a team called the 87ers.
Wyatt had a successful stint with the Sixers’ summer league team in Orlando, but he hadn’t yet been signed by the team, thus taking his talents, at least temporarily, to Chick-fil-A. Now he’s in the NBA. I love this country.
Evan Turner with some kind words:
Congrats to @khalifw05 for making the squad! I guess they just giving spots away nowadays lol http://t.co/WD1NifgojJ
